2022 – 2023 Initiatives

1. Meadow Lakes Planting: In collaboration with the Botany Club, we had ~40 volunteers plant 900 plants around the lake in the Meadow Lakes Community
2.  Earth Week activities: Scavenger hunt during advisory, Speaker event during Chapel (Dr. Pae Wu), Visit from marine biology researcher (Jacke Veatch)
3. Heads Day escape room activity
4. Pet planting Saturday night activity: plant seeds to take home or to the dorm.
5. Composting during lunch
6. Dorm recycling competition
7. Water testing at the Peddie Lake

2019-2020 (ideas):

1. Connecting with sustainability programs/clubs at other schools
2. Earth Week 2.0
3. Dorm electricity/power reduction competition
